New Parent Welcome Baskets
We welcome new members in our area with a basket of goodies and informational materials. If you know of a new family with a little one who has Down syndrome, please let us know.
World down syndrome awareness day
Cookies were delivered to local first responders along with a training guide on 03/21/18. We also posted information boards at the Arc of Central Plains and Hays Public Library.
October is down Syndrome awareness month
Area high schools have worn blue and yellow ribbon on decals during the month of October. We also have had support from officials, cheerleaders, and dance teams by wearing blue and yellow ribbon buttons.
In April, we annually host the Tee It Up for Down Syndrome Golf Tournament at Fort Hays Municipal Golf Course in Hays, Kansas. We have a great turnout each year. Photo Credit:Chris Stacy
